Emotional on the day of honor, musician Pham Huu Tam shared: "I am so touched and cannot imagine that today I am recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the Musician who composed music for the most films (of various genres). Because for the past 30 years, I have only known how to compose and compose, with the genres of film music, meditation music and Buddhist music, especially humanistic music with the short film series Seeds of the Soul. I know that those types of music are very difficult to make a name for myself, but I still persevere in pursuing them because my sincerity always wants to spread spiritual values and humanity."
Musician Pham Huu Tam and the story of composing film music
When asked if he was afraid of competing with many young faces composing film music, the 6X musician frankly said: "I even encourage them. The old bamboo shoots grow, that's the natural law of creation, but it can also be 'the older the ginger, the spicier it is', it all depends on the musical emotions of the composer and the listener."
According to the musician, composing film music has a distinct identity compared to other music genres. There, the musician does not simply "give wings" to melodies and lyrics that freely fly according to personal emotions. Instead, they must transform into storytellers through music, distilling the core spirit, closely following the emotional flow and story of the script to create harmonious lyrics and melodies, highlighting the ideological theme of the film.
During his career, musician Huu Tam has many famous compositions, typically Peaceful Sky.

The 6X musician believes that when a movie soundtrack is released and reaches even a small part of the audience, it has completed its mission of connecting with the movie and has spread in its own way. For the composer, the fact that his "brainchild" is heard, found and listened to is a great happiness and fulfillment in the creative journey.
However, there are still exceptions that go beyond the usual rule. A typical example is the song "Peaceful Sky" by the musician himself - a film soundtrack that has had an independent and strong vitality. The song not only fulfilled its role in the original film of the same name but also existed persistently, touching the hearts of many generations of audiences for nearly 25 years, becoming a true "peaceful sky" in the souls of listeners.
