Personnel of the National Assembly Standing Committee after reorganization in October 2025

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly has a Secretary General of the National Assembly and two new Chairmen of the Delegation Work Committee and the Science - Technology - Environment Committee.

On October 25, at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly , the National Assembly held a secret ballot and then passed resolutions on electing Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Deputies' Affairs Committee, as a member of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee.

At the same time, the National Assembly also voted by secret ballot to pass resolutions on electing Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong to hold the position of Chairman of the National Assembly Deputies' Work Committee.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai, former Chairwoman of the Delegation Affairs Committee, was elected by the National Assembly as Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment.

The National Assembly also held a secret ballot, then passed a resolution to elect Mr. Le Quang Manh, Permanent Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office, to hold the position of Secretary General and Head of the National Assembly Office.

Previously, Mr. Le Quang Tung, former Secretary General and Head of the National Assembly Office, was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee.

Mr. Le Quang Huy, Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, has been dismissed from work by the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the Party Central Committee has dismissed him from his position as a member of the 13th Party Central Committee. The National Assembly has also just passed a resolution to dismiss Mr. Le Quang Huy from his position as Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment yesterday afternoon, October 24.

After the reorganization, the National Assembly Standing Committee consists of 19 members, including: the National Assembly Chairman, 6 Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly, and 12 members of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
