In the journey of spreading love and supportingeducation in the highlands, ChildFund has brought practical and meaningful gifts to students at Quang Trong Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities and Kim Dong Secondary School. Specifically, the program has awarded: 50 scholarships to support tuition fees , 489 sets of school supplies , 240 sets of personal hygiene for female students , 3 sets of water filters for schools and 2 sets of school hygiene tools .
Student D., Quang Trong school, emotionally shared:
“I am very grateful for the gifts from the project. They will help us a lot in our life and study in the boarding area, especially when many of my friends still have to live in temporary camps outside the school campus.”
Not only does it bring joy to students, the support is also a great source of motivation for the school. Mr. Nong Van Huu, Principal of Kim Dong Secondary School, expressed:
“ChildFund’s support has made an important contribution to helping the school and locality overcome difficulties after the storm. This is also the motivation for us teachers and students to continue to strive to teach and learn better every day.”
Continuing that meaningful journey, on March 25, ChildFund Vietnam organized a contest to learn about online safety for 355 students and teachers at Coc Dan Primary and Secondary Boarding School, Ngan Son District, Bac Kan Province. The contest took place enthusiastically with a series of creative, lively and exciting activities.
The event is part of the project "Enhancing digital capacity for ethnic minority students" , aiming to equip them with skills to use technology and the Internet confidently, healthily and safely.
The highlight of the program is realistic role-playing plays , recreating dangerous situations when using the Internet. Students also have the opportunity to unleash their creativity through media painting activities, spreading profound messages about protecting themselves in cyberspace .

In addition, the contest also challenges students’ knowledge with a series of quick questions about online safety. This is not just a lesson, but also an opportunity for students to become smart and responsible Internet users.
