Mr. Do Van Quy - Chairman of Da Mai Ward People's Committee said that the unit has just organized a thematic working session to thoroughly prepare for the new school year 2025-2026. This is the first school year after the establishment of Da Mai Ward on the basis of merging old wards/communes, with the goal of ensuring that all educational activities in the area take place stably, continuously, in accordance with regulations and increasingly effectively.
According to Mr. Quy, at the conference, representatives of the Board of Directors of schools from kindergarten to secondary school in the area had 10 frank and responsible comments, focusing on major groups of issues such as: Organizational structure, teacher staffing, teaching contracts, facilities and conditions to ensure school safety...
The conference discussed and agreed on key tasks for the 2025-2026 school year. Accordingly, along with developing the system of gifted - physical - aesthetic clubs from the beginning of the school year, each school in the ward registered 3 key breakthrough tasks.
Specifically, the People's Committee of Da Mai Ward requested that each school register at least 3 breakthrough tasks for the 2025-2026 school year. "These are breakthrough tasks, selected from practice and highly feasible, demonstrating the creativity and initiative of the local education sector. It could be digital transformation in teaching, building happy schools, developing gifted student models, green - clean - beautiful schools, improving teaching methods..." - Mr. Quy suggested.
Chairman of Da Mai Ward People's Committee Do Van Quy emphasized that the 3 tasks when registering must be specific, have output products, have evaluation indexes and be updated quarterly. The ward will publicly monitor, evaluate and commend units that do well to replicate the model.
The Chairman of Da Mai Ward also noted that schools must fully complete the targets and tasks of the new school year. In particular, it is necessary to seriously develop a school year plan in a modern - practical - student-centered direction. At the same time, proactively implement the key targets of the industry, ensure class size, increase the rate of students completing the program at the right age, reduce the rate of weak students, while ensuring school safety, preventing accidents and injuries, and preventing school violence.
Regarding the selection of textbooks, the People's Committee of Da Mai Ward requested schools to strictly follow Circular No. 25/2020 of the Ministry of Education and Training , ensuring objectivity, science, and focusing on students' interests. The Department of Culture and Society is assigned to guide, evaluate, and ensure consistency throughout the ward.
Along with preparing facilities, recruiting students, and digitizing school data, the People's Committee of Da Mai Ward noted that schools need to be ready in all aspects for the 2025-2026 school year. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Mai Ward requested that any unexpected situations arising in schools must be immediately reported to the Department of Culture - Society and the leaders of the People's Committee of the Ward for timely handling. Absolutely do not allow "hot spots" of security and order, public opinion, or complaints related to educational activities in the area.
The People's Committee of Da Mai Ward assigned the Ward's Economic - Infrastructure - Urban Department to receive the list of proposals for renovating school facilities, submit to the Chairman for consideration and approval, and prioritize implementation from the fourth quarter of 2025.
