VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory is the only part of Vingroup that is producing batteries for the VinFast VF6 car line.
After a trial operation period, VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory officially produced the first commercial products on August 28, 2023. All battery products meet international standards and are manufactured for VinFast 's VF6 vehicle line.
Mr. Trinh Xuan Tu - Factory Manager of VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory said: "We are in the process of market research so the factory is currently only operating at about 30% capacity. The factory's battery product lines are exclusively for VinFast's VF6 car line".
In the factory departments...
...in addition to the support of machines and robots, there are about 100 engineers and workers performing production tasks.

Initially, the factory produces about 120 battery packs for VinFast VF6 each day.
Before being released to the market, solar panels are thoroughly inspected to ensure the highest quality when they reach consumers.
The battery case after being molded will be brought to the area where the internal components are assembled.
Mr. Bryan Koo - Director of VinES Battery Factory said: " After commercial operation, battery products were transported to VinFast factory in Hai Phong for assembly. VinES Battery Factory Ha Tinh has a maximum production capacity of 100,000 battery packs/year, so when the electric vehicle market in Vietnam and Southeast Asian countries grows, the factory's capacity will meet market demand..." .
After production, batteries are stored in warehouses according to safety standards before leaving the factory.
The VinES Battery Factory Project was approved in principle by the Ha Tinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board with a total registered capital of over VND 3,784 billion. The factory is invested by Vingroup Corporation, located in Vung Ang Economic Zone (Ky Anh Town) with a total land use area of over 12.6 hectares. The factory started construction in December 2021.
