According to talented young designer Le Minh Phu: "The ao dai, especially the combination of tradition and modernity, is a cultural symbol closely associated with the image of Vietnamese women. I want to bring a symbol of friendship and cultural exchange through the image of the ao dai worn by Vietnamese women. At the event, participants interacted with leading Indian artists, Avika Gor from the famous Indian television series Balika Vadhu, legendary actor and filmmaker Anupam Kher, and pop star Alisha Chinoi. The audience also enjoyed traditional Indian performances such as the Kuchipudi and Qwali dances."

Designer Le Minh Phu shared his thoughts: "Along with the rapid development of our international friends, Vietnam is also progressing step by step, especially the Ao Dai. When people talk about Vietnamese Ao Dai, they often think of something very traditional, very old-fashioned. But no. Look at my collections here; they are very different, very new, very special, or to put it more profoundly, they are very innovative, very modern. They are no longer constrained by body measurements or a single, old-fashioned color scheme; they are very stylish."
My fashion designs cater to almost everyone, moving away from the conservative, high-necked styles and incorporating more shapes to boost confidence and enhance natural beauty. However, no matter how innovative and unconventional my designs are, I never forget my roots and the iconic images deeply ingrained in the hearts of Vietnamese people: the lotus flower or the phoenix. These images not only represent the elegance, refinement, and virtue of the symbols but also truly reflect the qualities of the Vietnamese people.
Furthermore, when it comes to Vietnam, I'm always proud of its love and affection, and that's why I always choose stylized heart motifs in my collections. Instead of only those with slim waists and beautiful figures daring to wear the ao dai, today I've created ao dai designs that are easier to wear, so even if you're a little curvier, you can still feel confident and comfortable. The highlight of this collection is the ao dai transformed into the image of the Phoenix, a culmination of the beauty, softness, elegance, and grace of various creatures. The phoenix is also a symbol of royalty and nobility, and the royal gold floral patterns further enhance the magnificent beauty of the ao dai.
The phoenix image was also exquisitely designed on the headdress, a harmonious blend of Northern and Southern Vietnamese culture that celebrates the complete beauty of Vietnamese women. This beauty was successfully showcased through the outstanding performance of Hot TikToker – Miss Businesswoman Vietnam, Lu Ngoc Hien. Le Minh Phu added, "The phoenix is a bird capable of rebirth, a symbol of eternal beauty. The appearance of the phoenix signals good fortune, a time of social peace , symbolizing peace and friendly cooperation between Vietnam and India. This is also the message that designer Le Minh Phu wants to convey to this event."

With that idea in mind, Minh Phu also sends a heartfelt message to international friends: although we may not share the same skin color or language, let us share a common ideal of peace , security, and love, because we all live on the same Earth. Thank you to the brand ambassadors and beauty queens who have elevated the modern Vietnamese ao dai to a new level. Thank you to international friends who have respected, cherished, and worn my ao dai. To ensure that this beauty does not fade with time, every day I will strive to learn more, create more, and contribute more, to produce more modern, elegant, and pure ao dai collections.
