The group repeatedly slapped and kicked the female student in the face and stomach, then grabbed her hair and threw her to the ground. While the female student was being beaten, many of her friends stood by and watched. The incident lasted for more than 2 minutes.
According to the investigation, the incident occurred in a restroom at a school in Long Nguyen Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The beating only stopped when a teacher shouted.
This morning, speaking to reporters, a leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said he was aware of the incident and was gathering information.
