The play "Hien Than" recreates the life and achievements of the famous general Nguyen Cuu Dam - the Imperial Envoy of the Nguyen Dynasty, who played a particularly important role in planning and building the foundation of Saigon - Gia Dinh in the early days. He was the commander of the construction of Ban Bich citadel, creating a defensive position, opening up the territory and laying the foundation for the land that would later become a prosperous urban area - a major economic - cultural center of the whole country.
