A rare and dangerous situation occurred in the match between Tre Phu Dong and Hanoi Bulls in the final round of round 4 of group A of the 2025 National Third Division, taking place on the afternoon of November 5 at Hoai Duc Stadium (Hanoi).
In the 29th minute of the match, when Tre Phu Dong was preparing to counterattack, player Nguyen Anh Tuan (number 13, Tre Phu Dong) suddenly fell to the ground and showed signs of continuous convulsions. The referee immediately stopped the match and asked the medical team to enter the field for emergency treatment.
Within just 2 minutes, the player was put on a stretcher and transferred to the hospital by ambulance. According to information from the Phu Dong Youth Club, Anh Tuan has regained consciousness, but the team has not yet announced further details about the player's health condition.
Despite the incident, the players of Phu Dong Youth played with great effort. Although losing an important attacking element when the score was 0-0, the team still won 2-1 after 90 dramatic minutes, ending round 4 with 3 valuable points. Thus, Phu Dong Youth had 8 points with 2 wins and 2 draws when closing round 4.
This year's tournament brings together 17 teams from across the country and is divided into 3 groups. In which, Phu Dong Youth and Hanoi Bulls are in group A with Hoai Duc Youth, CAHN Youth, Dao Ha Football Center and Luxury Ha Long.
The teams will compete in two concentrated rounds and find 4 teams including: 3 group winners and 1 second-place team with the best results, winning tickets to the 2026 National Second Division.
The three group winners will be tied for first place in the tournament.
