The People's Committee of Chuong My District has just issued a report directing and resolving the case of a 5th grade female student at My Luong Primary School who was filmed and posted on social media in a state of kneeling and undressing.
My Luong Primary School
The document of the People's Committee of Chuong My District shows that on April 22, KTT (5th grade student of My Luong Primary School) burned M.'s notebook and blamed Tr. (in the same class as T.). Afterwards, T. met Tr. to apologize. Seeing this, Nh. (who was with Tr.) slapped T. and did not allow him to apologize.
On April 29, some students made an appointment to meet T. at the village cultural house yard (in My Luong commune) to "allow" the female student to apologize. There, T. told her friends, "If I take off my clothes, you will forgive me." After that, T. took off her shirt and was filmed by a student. On May 15, this clip was spread on social media and was withdrawn that day.
According to the People's Committee of Chuong My District, immediately after the incident occurred, the commune police coordinated with the school to invite related students and their parents to work.
At the meeting, the parents all acknowledged their children's mistakes and asked the school for permission to meet T.'s family to apologize. T.'s father agreed to forgive the children.
In addition, My Luong Primary School required the students involved to write a report and consider handling the violation. In the report, the students presented the incident, admitted their shortcomings, sincerely admitted their mistakes and asked for forgiveness, and pledged not to repeat the offense.
T. herself accepted the apology and forgave her friends. "From the time of the incident until May 16, the above students still went to school as usual. The situation of the class, school, families of the students involved and the locality is stable," the document stated.
The Department of Education and Training of Chuong My district came to work with the school and local leaders, then the leaders of My Luong commune directly went to the families of the students involved to discuss and encourage them.
The People's Committee of Chuong My District has directed the Chuong My District Police to verify the individual who posted the clip on social media.
