Vietnam Olympic team is awarded 100 million VND for each goal at ASIAD

On September 15, Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai, former Vice Chairman of District 1 People's Committee (HCMC) and Mr. Nguyen Dang Van, the brave man who saved more than 10 victims in the mini apartment fire in Hanoi on the night of September 12, came to the Vietnam Olympic base to exchange.

During the talk, Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai awarded the Vietnam Olympic team 100 million VND/1 goal scored at ASIAD 19.

At the same time, Mr. Hai also gave Coach Hoang Anh Tuan a medal won at the marathon to encourage his spirit.

Also during the meeting, members of the Vietnam Olympic team signed their competition shirts to auction with Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai.

All proceeds will be used to support the families of the victims of the mini apartment fire in Hanoi, as well as charitable activities.

Talking about this meeting, Coach Hoang Anh Tuan shared: "My students and I are very happy to welcome two special guests, Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai and student Nguyen Dang Van.

My coaching staff and students always followed the tragic fire. Many of them also shed tears of sympathy. I always teach them to feel the lesson of compassion, in the face of the difficult and tragic circumstances of our fellow countrymen."

On the morning of August 16, the Vietnam Olympic team left for Hangzhou (China) to attend the 19th ASIAD.

Sharing about the team's spirit at this time, Mr. Tuan said: "I see happiness and confidence in your eyes. I am very proud of you."

According to the schedule, the Vietnam Olympic team will face Mongolia (September 19), Iran (September 21) and Saudi Arabia (September 24).
