Mr. Bui Van Phuc was elected by consensus to the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City.

On February 18th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City ( Ho Chi Minh City) held its 4th conference for the 2024-2029 term.

The conference proceeded with consultations to fill the vacant position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City for the 2024-2029 term through a voting process.

As a result, 100% of the delegates present unanimously agreed to nominate Mr. Bui Van Phuc - Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Thu Duc City Party Committee - to participate in the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City; to participate in the Standing Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City for the term 2024 - 2029.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Bui Van Phuc expressed his sincere gratitude for the trust and confidence of the leaders of the Thu Duc City Party Committee and the delegates. He also stated that he would continue to promote the spirit of unity and cohesion within the collective, boldly innovate, be creative, and listen to the opinions of all sectors of the population to improve the effectiveness of his work. He is determined to work together with the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City to successfully implement the resolutions set forth by the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

Mr. Bui Van Phuc, on behalf of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City, respectfully thanked Mr. Tran Huu Phuoc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City, for his companionship with the Standing Committee in leading, directing, and managing the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City, successfully completing the assigned tasks.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thu Duc City also discussed and provided feedback on the draft political report to be presented at the First Congress of the Thu Duc City Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
