On February 22nd and 23rd, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) held a conference on personnel matters, implementing the process of nominating candidates for the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, and General Director of the Group.

The process of nominating personnel for the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee in charge of production and business, Member of the Board of Directors, and General Director of the Group has been meticulously and thoroughly implemented by the Group, ensuring compliance with Party regulations and State laws, with the presence of guests from the Office of the Party Committee of the Government, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise Bloc, the Committee for State Capital Management at Enterprises, and the Ministry of Interior .

Mr. Le Ngoc Son, born in February 1972, before becoming Deputy General Director of Petrovietnam (from April 5, 2021), previously held the position of Head of the Oil and Gas Exploration Department of Petrovietnam. Prior to that, he was the General Director of Phu Quoc Oil and Gas Operating Company (PQPOC).
