On the afternoon of October 8, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ( Agribank ) held a conference to announce the decision to adjust branches and staff work at Agribank Bac Long An Branch. Accordingly, Agribank Bac Long An Branch officially operates under the new model as a Class I Branch ranked 1.
Attending the conference were Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Nguyen Van Duoc; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Huynh Van Son; Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - Le Thi Song An; representatives of leaders, former leaders of the province; leaders of districts: Duc Hoa, Duc Hue, Moc Hoa; Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, member of the Board of Members, General Director of Agribank - Pham Toan Vuong; Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Long An branch - Le Thi My Hien.
The conference announced Agribank's decisions such as the Decision on changing the name of Agribank Duc Hoa Long An District Branch and changing the name to Agribank Bac Long An Branch. The Decision on adjusting Agribank Bac Long An Branch to a type 1 branch; The Decision on adjusting decentralized branches, directly authorizing the management of branches such as Agribank Dong Duc Hoa Long An Branch, Agribank Bac Duc Hoa Long An Branch, Agribank Duc Hue Long An District Branch, Agribank Moc Hoa Long An District Branch from Agribank Long An Province Branch to Agribank Bac Long An Branch.
Agribank also decided to transfer and appoint Mr. Phan Tan Luan - Deputy Director of Agribank Long An Branch, to hold the position of Director of Agribank Bac Long An Branch, with a term of office of 5 years from October 10, 2024; at the same time, decided to appoint 2 Deputy Directors of Agribank Bac Long An Branch, Ms. Tran Thi Phe and Ms. Huynh Thi Kim Khanh.
The conference also announced the Decision of the Agribank Party Committee on the establishment of the Agribank Party Committee, Bac Long An Branch, consisting of 100 party members; the Decision approving the number and structure of the Party Committee; appointing the Party Committee, appointing Mr. Phan Tan Luan to hold the position of Secretary of the Agribank Party Committee, Bac Long An Branch for the 2024-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Director of the State Bank of Vietnam , Long An Branch - Le Thi My Hien congratulated Agribank Bac Long An Branch; at the same time, hoped that the branch would promote professionalism, improve the quality of operations, and strive to complete its tasks well.

On this occasion, Agribank also donated 1 ambulance worth 1.25 billion VND to Duc Hoa District Medical Center, Long An Province; donated 10 houses worth 600 million VND to Duc Hue District and 10 houses worth 600 million VND to Moc Hoa District; donated 87.2 million VND contributed by Agribank officers and employees of Bac Long An Branch to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An Province to support the people in the North affected by the recent storm No. 3.
After its establishment, Agribank Bac Long An Branch will have 166 staff, a network including 1 Headquarter with 5 functional departments, 4 type II branches (Duc Hoa Branch, Tan My Branch, Duc Hue District Branch, Moc Hoa District Branch) and 2 transaction offices (Duc Hoa Thuong Transaction Office under the Headquarter and My Quy Tay Transaction Office under Duc Hue District Branch). The total scale as of September 30, 2024 is 25,412 billion VND, of which capital reaches 8,895 billion VND and outstanding loans reach 16,518 billion VND, serving more than 100,000 customers (more than 18,000 loan customers and more than 83,000 deposit customers), in charge of operating areas in 3 districts: Duc Hoa, Duc Hue and Moc Hoa./.
