At the conference, Comrade Trieu Duc Hanh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 1858/QD-UBND dated August 29, 2024 of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the transfer and appointment of Comrade Vu Duc Tho, Deputy Director of the Departmentof Education and Training to hold the position of Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism from September 1, 2024; the term of office is 5 years from the date of appointment.

Presenting the Decision and congratulating the new Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Comrade Pham Dinh Nghi, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested that in his new position, Comrade Vu Duc Tho continue to practice and improve his professional knowledge and skills; promote his qualities and capacity in leadership, direction and management; create solidarity and unity among the leadership, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; proactively and actively coordinate with all levels and sectors to advise the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and Provincial People's Committee in directing, operating and issuing policies and mechanisms in all fields of the sector, bringing the development of culture, sports and tourism of the province to achieve new achievements.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vu Duc Tho, respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee for entrusting him with the task and promised that in his new position, he would continuously study, practice, strive, uphold his sense of responsibility, improve his working capacity, excellently complete the assigned tasks, and continue to build the province's Culture, Sports and Tourism sector to develop more and more.
