Petrolimex empowers knowledge and supports students of the Polytechnic University.

Deputy General Director of Petrolimex Group, Nguyen Ngoc Tu, awarded Petrolimex scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements in the first semester of the 2015-2026 academic year.

Mr. Nguyen Tri Thien, Head of the Human Resources Department of Petrolimex Group, awarded Petrolimex scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements in the first semester of the 2015-2026 academic year.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Petrolimex were Deputy General Director Nguyen Ngoc Tu and representatives from various specialized departments. On behalf of Hanoi University of Science and Technology were Associate Professor Huynh Dang Chinh – Vice Director of the University and representatives from functional departments and leaders of member schools.

The Petrolimex Scholarship is implemented based on a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam National Petroleum Group and Hanoi University of Science and Technology to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two entities; encourage students with good academic and training results; and create opportunities for students to access a practical environment, internships, and career orientation at Petrolimex.

From the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year to the present, the Petrolimex scholarship program has awarded 80 scholarships to 37 students and postgraduate engineering students in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemistry & Life Sciences, and Economics . Many students receive continuous scholarship support until graduation; among the graduates, the majority achieved excellent and outstanding academic results, and some continued their studies in postgraduate engineering programs and were again considered for scholarships by the Group.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Huynh Dang Chinh acknowledged Petrolimex's effective and sustainable partnership with the training and support of students at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. According to Associate Professor Huynh Dang Chinh, the scholarship program not only provides financial support but also motivates students to continue striving for academic excellence, self-improvement, and holistic development.

Representing Petrolimex, Deputy General Director Nguyen Ngoc Tu affirmed that Petrolimex always prioritizes investment in education and the development of young human resources. He also expressed pride that the scholarship program has been creating additional motivation for students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology to strive and train, gradually forming potential talents not only for Petrolimex but also for the country's development in the future.

At the ceremony, Petrolimex awarded scholarships to 20 outstanding students of Hanoi University of Science and Technology for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year. As one of the scholarship recipients, Nguyen Ngoc Giang, a student from the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, expressed his gratitude to the Corporation and the University, and pledged to continue striving in his studies and training, improving his professional knowledge to live up to the trust and expectations of the Corporation and the University.

The Petrolimex Scholarship Award Ceremony further affirms the pioneering role of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group in accompanying education and investing in the younger generation – an important foundation for the sustainable development of the enterprise and the country in the future.

Previously, on November 19, 2025, at the Petrolimex headquarters (No. 1 Kham Thien, Hanoi), Petrolimex and Hanoi University of Technology organized a meeting for new students with the aim of selecting outstanding new candidates suitable for the Group's scholarship program in the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.
