Strive to exceed the domestic revenue estimate minus land use fees

Phu Yen Tax Department has just issued an official dispatch requesting departments under the Tax Department and affiliated tax branches in the province to strengthen tax collection in the last days of 2023.

Accordingly, to strive to achieve the highest budget collection task in 2023, especially to exceed the domestic revenue estimate minus land use fees, the Tax Department requests tax departments and branches to focus on urging budget collection in December, units that have completed the revenue estimate minus land use fees should strive to achieve the highest level of the assigned estimate.

Tax branches work with the People's Committees of communes, wards, and the finance and planning departments of districts, towns, and cities to coordinate in collecting all revenues such as: fees, non- agricultural land use tax, revenue from other public assets and profits, and other budget revenues...

The inspection and debt management department should vigorously urge the collection of all arrears and administrative penalties for tax violations through inspections and checks, and prevent businesses from being in debt, being slow, or dragging their feet. Continue to effectively implement measures to prevent revenue loss, especially in the fields of e-commerce, digital platform business, food and beverage services, real estate business, capital transfer, etc. At the same time, it is recommended that the Provincial People's Committee direct all sectors and levels to coordinate to strengthen revenue management in these fields.

It is known that as of December 12, the total domestic revenue in the province was 3,627 billion VND, reaching 71.5% of the central budget estimate, 45.7% of the provincial budget estimate, equal to 71.5% of the same period last year. Of which, the total domestic revenue minus land use fees was 2,791 billion VND, reaching 97.2% of the central and provincial budget estimate, equal to 87.7% of the same period last year.
