Artists celebrate the 10th birthday of "Artists and the Stage"

Ten years ago, in a small room of HTV, the first steps of the program "Artists and the stage" were gently placed down. No noisy drums, no flashy lights, just a very simple wish: to preserve the quiet breath of the stage, of art, in the midst of the bustling modern flow.

Today, at the threshold of that ten-year anniversary, "Artists and Stage" is no longer just a program. It has become a part of the memories of those in the profession, a very warm corner in the hearts of art-loving audiences and is looking forward to turning 11 with many programs expanding the fields of culture and art nationwide.

Born on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Liberation of the South (April 30, 2015), "Artists and the Stage" not only talks with artists, but also listens and shares their thoughts and concerns. There, people see stage artists diligently sticking to the stage in a time when the spotlight seems to favor new entertainment trends more.

The audience met amateur musicians, circus artists, magicians, and reformed opera artists... people who seem quiet, but have an unshakable love for their profession.

The program has also introduced the Mai Vang Award of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper many times over its 30-year journey, and is also a companion channel for competitions: Tran Huu Trang, Bong Lua Vang, festivals, professional theater, circus, and magic shows nationwide. In particular, this is a companion channel to promote the Golden Bell of Traditional Music and Ngan Mai Golden Bell of HTV.

Over 680 episodes, the program has opened the backstage door more than 680 times – where artistic dreams are nurtured with sweat and tears. There, the audience is not only entertained, but also awakened, reminded of an indispensable part of Vietnamese culture.

On April 17, 2025, at HTV, "Artists and Stage" held an emotional exchange and exhibition to celebrate its 10th anniversary. More than 100 photos - each one telling a story - were displayed, like footprints deeply imprinted on that enduring journey.
