Commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 25, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Agencies Vo Nguyen Nam visited and presented gifts to exemplary policy families in Binh An and Chau Thanh communes.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Phung Thi Kheo and Vietnamese Heroic Mother Trinh Thi Hoa; attended the handover ceremony of the House of Gratitude to 4/4 class disabled soldier Doan Quoc Dung in Chau Thanh commune; visited and presented gifts to 2 policy families in Binh An commune, including 3/4 class disabled soldier Pham Hoang Minh and 2/4 class disabled soldier Mai Thanh Dong.

At the places he visited, Comrade Vo Nguyen Nam kindly inquired about the health and expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids and martyrs in the struggle for national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.

Comrade Vo Nguyen Nam also requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to and carry out well the work of "Repaying gratitude", taking care of the material and spiritual life of policy families and meritorious people, demonstrating the Vietnamese people's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".
