Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh visited and presented gifts to support people affected by floods in Nong Son commune.

DNO - On November 6, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh visited and presented gifts to households that suffered heavy losses in the heavy rain and floods at the end of October in Nong Son commune.

At Trung Phuoc 2 village, comrade Nguyen Dinh Vinh inspected two seriously affected areas located near the Thu Bon river, including the family of Mr. Tang Van Cu and the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen.

Here, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee kindly visited, gave gifts of encouragement and shared difficulties with the households; hoping that people would make efforts to overcome the consequences and soon stabilize their lives.

Moved when receiving gifts from city leaders, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen expressed her deep gratitude for the timely attention and support of Da Nang city leaders and said she will try to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize her life.

On the same day, at Phuoc Vien village Cultural House, comrade Nguyen Dinh Vinh presented many gifts to support households affected by floods in the commune.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee deeply sympathized with the losses and damages of the people; at the same time, affirmed that the city government always pays attention and makes efforts to concentrate resources to help people overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Vinh also requested the local authorities to continue to pay attention, not to let people lack food and clothing; to focus on environmental sanitation, disease prevention, and to ensure stable people's lives after the flood. Along with that, proactive measures should be taken to respond to storm No. 13, especially the storm circulation that can cause heavy rain.
