Today, December 20, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang visited and congratulated officers and soldiers of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army on December 22 (1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day on December 22 (1989 - 2024).

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang presented flowers to congratulate the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, highly appreciating the results achieved by the unit in the past time. Especially, there are many innovations in local military and defense work; proactively coordinating with forces to firmly grasp the area, maintain political security, social order and safety. Innovate and be creative in training, combat readiness and actively participate in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue, contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.

I hope that the Provincial Military Command will continue to coordinate with departments, branches, sectors and localities to perform well military and defense tasks; strengthen the close relationship between the armed forces and the people; promote the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", innovate, be creative and excellently complete all tasks.
