The meeting took place in a solemn atmosphere, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Dien Ban town liberation (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025); 50th anniversary of Quang Nam liberation (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025); 95th anniversary of Dien Ban town Party Committee's establishment (April 5, 1930 - April 5, 2025); 95th anniversary of Quang Nam province Party Committee's establishment (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025).
At the meeting, delegates reviewed the 95-year journey of building and growing the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and Dien Ban Town, emphasizing the Party's leadership role in the struggle for national liberation, development and construction of the homeland.
Over the past years, under the leadership of the Party, Dien Ban town has had many strong changes, people's lives have increasingly improved. In block 2 of Vinh Dien ward, there are currently no poor or near-poor households, which is a testament to the solidarity and consensus of the people and the government in the process of sustainable poverty reduction, building an increasingly prosperous homeland.
Besides, Dien Ban has achieved many important achievements in industrial, service and tourism development. Dien Nam - Dien Ngoc Industrial Park continues to be a bright spot in attracting investment, creating jobs for tens of thousands of local workers.
The fields of education, health, culture and society have many positive changes; urban infrastructure has been upgraded synchronously, contributing to building an increasingly spacious and modern town.
Not only looking back on the past, the meeting is also a forum for people to exchange, discuss, and contribute ideas to build cultural neighborhoods and civilized urban wards, further strengthening trust in the Party's leadership, and encouraging people to continue to join hands to build a sustainable, civilized, and modern homeland.
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Dung emphasized that after two long and glorious resistance wars, which were also full of painful losses, the whole province had more than 65,500 martyrs, more than 15,300 heroic Vietnamese mothers (currently 267 mothers are still alive) and tens of thousands of wounded soldiers and policy households.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung said that along with implementing preferential policies of the Party and State, the work of gratitude in the province has become a regular and extensive activity to increasingly better care for the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
Before the country's transformation period, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duc Dung hopes that the people of Vinh Dien ward in particular and Dien Ban town in general will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, solidarity, respond to the policy of arranging and streamlining the political system apparatus from the province to the grassroots, promote economic restructuring, digital transformation...
Comrade Nguyen Duc Dung believes that each citizen will be a positive factor in building civilized urban areas, developing family economy, preserving cultural lifestyles, uniting to help each other progress, contributing to building an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland...
