On the afternoon of January 18, in Hoa Binh district ( Bac Lieu province), Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and her delegation visited, extended New Year greetings, presented gifts to policy families, the poor, children in difficult circumstances and handed over houses under the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses on the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2025.
Sending New Year greetings to cadres, soldiers, policy families, poor households and people of Bac Lieu province, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan called on the entire political system and people of all walks of life to unite, join hands and join hearts to successfully carry out local tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the country's goals and tasks.
The Vice President also asked all levels and sectors of Bac Lieu province to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity and making more efforts in social security work, ensuring that all people can celebrate Tet in a joyful and warm atmosphere.
Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented 200 gifts to policy families, the poor, workers, and children in difficult circumstances in Bac Lieu province; donated VND500 million to the province to support the poor to celebrate Tet; and VND200 million to the province's Children's Support Fund.
On this occasion, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and the delegation visited the family of mother Nguyen Thi Binh (a veteran revolutionary cadre) and war invalid Trinh Quoc Chien, residing in Hoa Binh town, Hoa Binh district.
Previously, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented 500 gifts to poor households and 200 gifts to children in Ca Mau province.
On the same morning, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan extended New Year greetings and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi Khanh (born in 1934, in Ward 1, Ca Mau City).
