The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province visits and provides assistance to households affected by storms and strong winds.

On the afternoon of September 12th, Mr. Ngo Cong Thuc, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, visited, encouraged, and provided financial assistance to three households in An Phu commune whose houses were completely destroyed by storms and strong winds. Ms. Ha Minh Trang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, accompanied the delegation.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Ngo Cong Thuc, encouraged and presented financial assistance to households whose houses were completely destroyed by the storm.

At 5:30 PM on September 11th, heavy rain and thunderstorms occurred in An Phu commune, causing damage to 17 houses in the hamlets of Phuoc Thanh, Phuoc My, Phu Nghia, and Phu My; of which, 5 houses had their roofs completely blown off and 11 houses suffered damage ranging from 20% to 50%. The storms also caused damage to crops and livestock.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province, Ngo Cong Thuc, visited, encouraged, and provided financial assistance to households whose houses were completely destroyed by the storm.

During his visits, Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee , Cong Thuc, cordially inquired about the situation and personally handed over financial assistance to three households whose houses were completely destroyed, encouraging them to persevere through the difficulties.

Comrade Ngo Cong Thuc directed the local authorities to continue coordinating with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the police and military forces, and the people's committees of the hamlets to urgently support the people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and quickly stabilizing their lives and production.

Accordingly, 5 households whose roofs were completely blown off received 3 million VND each; the remaining households received 2 million VND each. The total amount donated was 37 million VND, from the provincial relief fund.
