From the beginning of 2023, the Ward Police have advised the Party Committee and the Ward People's Committee to direct departments, branches, organizations, cadres and civil servants to coordinate well in implementing the movement to build a mass movement to protect national security in the area; disseminate, thoroughly understand and develop a plan for Program 365/CTr-CATP-PT dated January 30, 2023 of Nha Trang City Police on building a mass movement to protect national security in 2023. The Ward's Steering Committee for National Security has directed relevant departments to focus on promoting propaganda work using many flexible methods and approaches for each subject, field and location. In the first 8 months of 2023, the functional forces of Vinh Nguyen Ward have organized 112 night patrols, ensuring security and order (ANTT), urban traffic safety and order; The ward police advised on organizing a session to propagate the Law on Fire Prevention and Fighting and basic skills in fire prevention and fighting, rescue and relief work; coordinated with the People's Protection Force and urban management of the ward to organize propaganda and mobilize business households not to encroach on roads and sidewalks; The ward's Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with relevant units to organize 68 propaganda sessions, mobilizing people to install and activate the VNeID application; Vinh Nguyen ward police built 2 skillful mass mobilization models. Vinh Nguyen ward continues to maintain self-managed models of security and order such as: Self-managed cage association on security and order; Self-managed household group on urban security and order; established 20 models of safe inter-family groups on fire prevention and fighting; 8 community fire fighting points... The models have been effective in maintaining social order and safety, supported and participated by local people, contributing to promoting the movement of the whole people to protect national security and order in the locality.
Regarding the policy of building a typical and exemplary Ward Police in terms of security and urban civilization, up to now, Vinh Nguyen Ward Police has achieved 19/22 criteria. The Ward Police also strengthens coordination with local political and social organizations in implementing the movement of the whole people protecting national security; propagating, raising people's awareness, actively participating with the police force in the fight against crime, eliminating social evils.
On this occasion, 5 individuals of Nha Trang City were honored to receive the National Security Protection Medal from the Ministry of Public Security. Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 groups of Nha Trang City with outstanding achievements in implementing the movement of the whole people protecting national security. The Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building the Movement of the Whole People Protecting National Security of Khanh Hoa Province also awarded 20 gifts to outstanding individuals in implementing the movement of the whole people protecting national security in Vinh Nguyen Ward.
