Condé Nast Traveler announced the Readers' Choice Awards 2023. In the category "Top Islands 2023", Phu Quoc is the only representative of Vietnam to be mentioned and is honored for the second consecutive year. In the list of 10 top Asian islands, Phu Quoc ranked 8th with 88.89 points, above the Okinawa & Ryuku Islands of Japan and Siargao of the Philippines. Many world tourism experts also consider Phu Quoc to be a "rising star" on the world tourism map due to its changes, increasingly attracting tourists with many entertainment options. One of the destinations that is attracting the world's attention is the newly launched Sunset Town in the South of the island, which was described by the Korean news agency Yonhap as "a unique experience of seeing the Mediterranean landscape in a tropical country".
Another interesting experience in Phu Quoc is to take the world's longest 3-wire cable car to Hon Thom Island, or watch Asia's leading multimedia show Kiss The Stars. If you want to experience the local culture, you can visit pepper farms or pearl farms, explore Phu Quoc National Park - where the primeval forest meets the sea or Ham Ninh fishing village.
