Phu Tho strives to be one of the growth poles of the Capital region.

At the closing session, delegates listened to a report summarizing comments on the documents of the 1st Phu Tho Provincial Party Congress and the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress passed the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030.

Accordingly, in the 2025 - 2030 term, with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", the entire Party Committee, government, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Phu Tho province will strive to successfully achieve the goal: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system in all aspects; promoting the strength of solidarity and cultural traditions of the homeland; pioneering in innovation, creativity, and digital transformation; creating breakthroughs for rapid and sustainable development, together with the whole country, being self-reliant, confident, and advancing strongly in the era of national development".

The Congress agreed on 3 strategic breakthroughs and 6 key tasks to be implemented in the new term, creating a foundation for Phu Tho to rise strongly in the new period. Accordingly, Phu Tho province determined that by 2030, Phu Tho will be one of the growth poles of the Capital region; becoming a center for industrial development, trade, logistics, tourism, healthcare, high-quality training and organizing large cultural festivals associated with national origins; a center for organizing national and international events. The economy has a high growth rate, taking science - technology, innovation, digital transformation, and private economy as the main driving force. The infrastructure system is synchronous and modern. Cultural heritage is preserved and promoted. Society develops harmoniously, the ecological environment is clean, the quality of life is improved comprehensively, the people have high income, are civilized and happy; play a pivotal role in ensuring energy security, defense, security and regional connectivity.

The province sets a number of important targets such as: GRDP scale is more than 2 times higher than in 2025; GRDP growth rate at comparable prices in the 2026-2030 period is about 11-12%/year; GRDP per capita is more than 2 times higher than in 2025, reaching about 220-230 million VND; TFP factor's contribution to growth in the 2026-2030 period is about 55-60%; digital economy's contribution reaches over 30% of GRDP; total investment capital implemented in the area in 5 years reaches over 910,000 billion VND; state budget revenue increases by an average of over 10%/year, reaching over 85,000 billion VND by 2030; provincial digital transformation index reaches 0.75 or higher; The rate of people and businesses using online public services reached over 80%....

By 2045, Phu Tho will be a centrally-run city; with a modern infrastructure system, a prosperous and prosperous society; people with a high quality of life and happiness; an advanced culture rich in identity; a clean and livable ecological environment; national defense and security are maintained, political security, social order and safety are ensured.

The Congress also discussed and comprehensively evaluated the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term; clarified the results, achievements, and causes of success; and pointed out the limitations, weaknesses, and causes that need to be overcome, drawing 5 profound lessons. On that basis, the Congress discussed enthusiastically, frankly, and unanimously approved many important documents of strategic significance for the province's development in the coming period, such as: Political Report of the Congress, Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress; Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term; Report synthesizing opinions of party organizations and people of all walks of life into the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.

The Congress heard the announcement of the Politburo's decisions on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the first term; and at the same time announced the decision on allocating the Phu Tho Provincial Party delegation to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

In his closing speech, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Tho province Bui Van Quang respectfully thanked the attention and close direction of the Politburo, the Secretariat and especially comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member, President - who directly attended and delivered a speech at the Congress.

The Congress also acknowledged the important contributions of former Phu Tho Provincial Party Secretary Dang Xuan Phong in the preparation work, and congratulated the new Provincial Party Secretary Truong Quoc Huy.

The success of the 1st Congress of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee is considered a historical milestone, opening a new development path after the merger, adding confidence and motivation to the entire Party Committee, government, armed forces and people. Immediately after the Congress, Party committees and organizations at all levels will quickly deploy learning, thoroughly grasping and concretizing the Resolution into practical action programs, plans and projects, aiming to bring the Resolution into life, creating clear changes in all areas.
