On the morning of June 4, the People's Committee - Steering Committee for Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue of Ba Dinh District organized a direct and online training session on the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue in 2024.

According to the Steering Committee for Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue of Ba Dinh District, from the beginning of 2025 to present, there have been 29 fires in Ba Dinh District, causing 3 people to suffer from minor smoke inhalation and 1 person to suffer minor injuries; property damage of more than 59 million VND. Of which, the on-site fire prevention and fighting force extinguished (or participated in extinguishing the fire from the beginning) 23 cases. Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of fires in the district increased by 14 cases, property damage increased by 48 million VND.
Also in the first half of 2025, Ba Dinh district authorities also administratively sanctioned 20 cases of violations of fire prevention, fighting, and rescue with a total fine of more than 161 million VND.
At the training conference, lecturers from the Fire Prevention and Fighting University disseminated regulations in the Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue No. 55/2024/QH15 and other legal documents.
The Law consists of 8 chapters and 55 articles; regulating fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue, forces, means, ensuring operating conditions and rights, obligations and responsibilities of relevant agencies, organizations, households and individuals in fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and salvage activities.

The training session also imparted measures to ensure fire prevention, fire fighting, and rescue at workplaces, residential areas, and neighborhood groups; and disseminated the dangerous fire and explosion properties of some common flammable substances.
Lecturers from the Fire Prevention and Fighting University also provided training on fire fighting procedures and escape skills in environments contaminated with smoke and toxic gases; provided guidance on how to handle incidents, escape, rescue people and property, and ensure safety when a fire or explosion occurs.
Training participants are also instructed in the practice of using fire extinguishers and other provided fire fighting equipment to extinguish fires.
At the same time, lecturers from the Fire Prevention and Fighting University also provide practical instructions on the use of rescue equipment that has been provided in real situations that may occur during fire fighting and rescue; and provide practical instructions on basic first aid methods for victims.
