Ba Dinh District: Many activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh district inaugurated and handed over the repair project of the great solidarity house in Giang Vo ward and Dien Bien ward.

In Giang Vo ward, from the beginning of 2025, implementing the policy of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Dinh district, Giang Vo ward has reviewed the subjects with difficult circumstances in the area. From there, the house of Ms. Le Thi Rong (Giang Vo collective) was selected as a difficult and lonely person to request the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district and ward to support and help renovate the house this year.

From the "For the Poor" support fund and the unanimous support of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and organizations of Giang Vo ward, Ms. Le Thi Rong's house was repaired and completed with an area of 39 square meters, with a total cost of more than 200 million VND.

In Dien Bien Ward, after checking, the household of Mr. Nguyen Nhu Loi, Head of the Veterans Association of Residential Group No. 6, encountered many difficulties. His house was seriously degraded, the walls and floor were damp and unsafe, affecting the health and life of his family.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien Ward has proactively surveyed and coordinated with relevant units and organizations to complete procedures and quickly implement construction. Repair items such as upgrading the floor, reinforcing the wall, installing the electrical and water systems have been fully implemented, ensuring quality.

*Thanh Cong Ward held the inauguration ceremony of the mural works "The Beauty of Success" in lane 10, Lang Ha street - Residential area No. 1; "Proud of Success - Civilized, Solidarity, Green - Clean - Beautiful Street" in Thanh Cong street - Residential area No. 13; building a model cultural residential group in implementing the code of conduct in public places in residential group No. 24 - Residential area No. 14. The total construction cost is more than 193 million VND.

From these models, Thanh Cong ward will replicate them in many residential groups to have community playgrounds suitable for each area, flower-filled neighborhoods, green trees, and many residential groups will be recognized as "Outstanding cultural residential groups" in implementing the code of conduct.
