According to the latest V-League transfer news, Quang Nam FC is testing a foreign striker with an impressive scoring efficiency. Accordingly, Nigerian striker Umar Abba is playing for the Central team in the friendly tournament Thien Long Cup.

In the first match, although only coming on as a substitute, this striker born in 2000 still managed to score 1 goal to help coach Van Sy Son and his team defeat Binh Dinh 2-0.

Before coming to Vietnam, Umar Abba was a good striker in the Nigerian National Championship. In his last 6 matches in the Nigerian National Championship before coming to Vietnam, Umar Abba scored for Gombe United and Lobi Stars. The 1m85 tall player also played twice in the African Cup of Champions for Plateau United in the 2019/2020 season.

In addition to Umar Abba, Quang Nam FC is also testing foreign player Alain Eyenga, a 1m90 tall Cameroonian central defender. The Quang Nam team must find new foreign players next season after all three faces, Eze, Conrado and Yago Ramos, have left for new destinations before the 2024/2025 season.
