On February 28th, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province issued a document approving the plan to adjust traffic organization on the coastal road DT 603B and road DT 619 (Vo Chi Cong road).

Specifically, section 1 includes provincial road DT 603B from the border with Da Nang city to the beginning of Vo Chi Cong road and Vo Chi Cong road from the beginning of the route to Cua Dai bridge (Hoi An city, Quang Nam): Tractor-trailer trucks and fixed-body vehicles towing trailers are prohibited.

Trucks with a carrying capacity exceeding 10 tons are prohibited from circulating between 5 AM and 10 PM (to ensure safety and avoid noise pollution affecting the tourist environment and local residents). They are permitted to circulate from 10 PM the previous day to 5 AM the following day, but the speed must not exceed 50 km/h.

Section 2: On Vo Chi Cong Road from Cua Dai Bridge to National Highway 40B (Dien Hong slope, Tam Ky City), all vehicles are allowed to circulate, with speed limits for tractor-trailers and vehicles with integrated trailers not exceeding 50 km/h.

Section 3 of Vo Chi Cong road, from Dien Hong slope to DT 620 road (the intersection leading to Chu Lai airport, Nui Thanh district), allows all vehicles to circulate. Speed limits for tractor-trailers and vehicles with integrated trailers are restricted to no more than 50 km/h.

As previously reported by Tuoi Tre Online , the Vo Chi Cong road, running along the coast connecting Hoi An to Chu Lai, is well-built and beautiful, but for a long time, trucks weighing 5 tons or more have been banned, causing difficulties for many businesses, transport companies, and residents.

Explaining the ban on vehicles weighing 5 tons or more on Vo Chi Cong road, the project's investor stated that some sections of the road are still under construction.
