The Quang Ninh Culinary Festival 2025 with the theme “Quang Ninh - Destination of culinary quintessence” officially opened last night, October 30, in Quang Ninh. The event aims to honor and promote traditional and modern culinary values of all regions, contributing to preserving the cultural identity of Vietnamese cuisine.
In particular, this is also an opportunity for domestic and foreign chefs, artisans, and businesses to meet, share experiences, expand cooperation, and affirm the potential for developing local culinary tourism .
Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province Nguyen Lam Nguyen said that the difference of this year's event is the participation of many hotels, restaurants, and international brand service chains with special dishes, using rich ingredients of Quang Ninh, imbued with Vietnamese culinary style to introduce to domestic and international tourists.
The organizers also promote the application of modern technology in the culinary space, such as virtual reality technology to help visitors explore the raw material areas and production processes of local specialties, such as catching seafood in Ha Long Bay, growing vegetables in Binh Lieu or producing yellow flower tea and Duong Hoa tea.
Participating in the event, besides enjoying the cuisine, visitors also have the opportunity to experience the art of food preparation, cocktail mixing; art performances and folk games of provinces and cities; free workshops with the theme "Discovering Quang Ninh cuisine"...

Over the past 4 years, the Quang Ninh Food Festival has attracted the participation of many agencies, units and businesses inside and outside the province. The event has become an annual tourism - cultural - commercial activity. This year, the festival has about 200 booths divided into 3 areas: international booth area, Vietnam booth area and Quang Ninh booth area.
Of which, about 50 international booths are spaces to display and introduce cuisine; perform art of processing and enjoying cakes and street foods of different countries; perform street art; cheer, promote and give gifts to customers...
The Vietnam pavilion area stands out with its culinary space divided into three regions: North - Central - South, introducing typical dishes of each region. 100 Quang Ninh booths recreate the typical coastal and mountainous culinary space of the locality. Each booth has multilingual explanations, introductions, food preparation demonstrations, animations, and OCOP product promotion.
Quang Ninh industry leaders said the province's goal in the last months of the year is to promote stimulus to attract visitors, striving to achieve the target of welcoming 20 million visitors by 2025, including 4.5 million international visitors./.
