In the first quarter of 2025, the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies will effectively mobilize resources and social credit programs based on the plan for new rural construction, sustainable poverty reduction, and the socio-economic development targets and tasks of the province in 2025.

By March 31, 2025, the entrusted capital from the local budget reached 376,906 million VND, an increase of 78,500 million VND (26.31%), completing 112.14% of the growth plan assigned by the Central Government. Outstanding debt reached 4,626,597 million VND, an increase of 153,179 million VND (3.42%) compared to the beginning of the year, reaching 86.83% of the growth plan target; the overdue debt ratio was 0.13%, equal to the beginning of the year.

Social credit capital has reached 1,380 poor households, near-poor households, and newly escaped poverty households, 308 families of students in difficult circumstances, 3,190 workers creating jobs locally, 136 workers working abroad for a limited period, 5,469 households borrowing to build and repair clean water and sanitation works in rural areas, 460 households producing and doing business in difficult areas, 2 traders doing business in difficult areas, and 13 people who have completed their prison sentences.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Be Muoi requested to continue to well implement assigned targets and tasks, contributing to poverty reduction, job creation, ensuring social security and building new rural areas in the province.

In particular, focusing on coordinating with the Provincial People's Council and Provincial People's Committee to arrange capital from the provincial budget to entrust to the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies to provide loans to buy, hire-purchase social housing; build, renovate, and repair houses for living.

Implement the plan to improve credit quality by 2025; strengthen Savings and Loan Groups with low outstanding loans and limited quality; improve the quality of social transaction activities, shorten transaction time.

Correct existing shortcomings and errors through inspection, examination and audit; effectively carry out training for part-time staff, coordinate the implementation of social policy credit, focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of training and coaching...
