K Coffee & Cherry Foundation supports 330 million VND for disadvantaged children

(Chinhphu.vn) - On November 18, the K Coffee & Cherry Sharing Love Fund completed its journey of donating 330 million VND to support disadvantaged children at Children's Hospital 1 and Children's Hospital 2 (HCMC).

This activity continues to spread the spirit of charity from little Cherry and the K Coffee Sharing Love Fund, which originated from the heart and painting talent of 10-year-old Cherry, who is considered a "child artist" who has been a strong inspiration in the media in recent times.

The donation ceremony was attended by Mr. Phan Minh Thong, General Director of Phuc Sinh Joint Stock Company, baby Cherry, representative of K Coffee & Cherry Fund and the leadership of the two hospitals.

At Children's Hospital 1, K Coffee and Cherry Fund met and supported 17 special cases, including pediatric patients with many serious diseases such as congenital heart disease, purulent meningitis, aortic valve stenosis, severe pneumonia, hydrocephalus... with a total amount of 160 million VND.

At Children's Hospital 2, K Coffee and Cherry Fund continued to share love with 27 children being treated for septic pneumonia, heart blockage, pulmonary hypertension, brain tumors... and many other dangerous diseases with a total amount of 170 million VND.

Sharing about the journey to this meaningful activity, Mr. Phan Minh Thong said that after April 2024, Cherry started to accompany the K Coffee Sharing Love Fund with the first activity of selling 50 paintings and then raising 389 million VND. Right from the first time, the K Coffee Fund and Cherry donated 200 million VND to support children in dire circumstances at Children's Hospital 1.

Cherry's innocent yet warm words moved not only the parents but also the medical staff at the two hospitals.

The K Coffee & Cherry Sharing Love Fund was established with the support of the pure specialty coffee brand K COFFEE of Phuc Sinh Group and child artist Cherry. The fund was established with the desire to spread humanistic values, contribute to the community and especially support sick children who are fighting day and night with diseases.

The Fund's funding was formed during this period thanks to the paintings created by Cherry. Within 2 years, Cherry diligently painted more than 50 paintings. These works were exhibited and sold to raise funds very successfully. All proceeds were used for charity activities, helping children in difficult circumstances.

K Coffee & Cherry Fund supports disadvantaged children through charitable funds contributed from: Cherry's painting sales, revenue from selling K COFFEE woven pp bags, K COFFEE canvas bags...

Up to now, the Fund has donated and presented to Children's Hospital 1 360 million VND, Children's Hospital 2 370 million VND, Heart Hospital 100 million VND to support sick children, spreading the spirit of sharing to those in difficult circumstances who need help.
