On the morning of December 23, speaking with Tien Phong reporter, Fansipan Legend media representative said that at around 5am the same day, at the top of Fansipan, the temperature dropped below 1 degree Celsius and frost appeared.

According to this representative, due to low temperatures, a thin layer of ice appeared at the top of Fansipan.

A thin layer of ice about 1cm thick appeared, covering the wooden floor, pillars, and grass.

At about 7:30 am, when the sun rose, the ice showed signs of melting.

Meanwhile, in Sa Pa, the temperature recorded for many days has dropped below 10 degrees Celsius, in the early morning the temperature dropped below 1 degree Celsius.
