Nearly 500 athletes participate in the "Coc San - Autumn Gold" Mountain Climbing Tournament 2025

VHO - On October 25, Coc San commune, Lao Cai province enthusiastically organized the first expanded "Coc San - Golden Autumn" Mountain Climbing Competition in 2025, attracting a large number of people and tourists to participate in cheering and experiencing.

The “Coc San – Golden Autumn” climbing competition is not only a useful sports playground, but also a tourism promotion activity, contributing to the local socio -economic development, spreading the spirit of solidarity, pride and aspiration of Coc San people amidst the brilliant golden colors of autumn.

At the same time, it is a meaningful and practical sports and cultural activity to celebrate the country's major holidays, to welcome the success of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The climbing competition had nearly 500 athletes from wards, communes and sports clubs in Lao Cai province. The athletes competed on a 7.5 km long route, with 4 competition categories (men and women over 40 years old and men and women under 40 years old). The athletes participated enthusiastically, bringing many attractive competitions, leaving the audience with exciting and vibrant moments.

Highlights: On the track, athletes can check-in at majestic natural landscapes.

The highlight of the race is that athletes can check in at the hundred-year-old heritage banyan tree, cross golden rice fields, majestic waterfalls and peaceful villages, where the vibrant colors of autumn in the highlands converge, making the heart-stopping beauty of the highlands.

According to the Organizing Committee, the "Coc San - Golden Autumn" Mountain Climbing Competition is an opportunity to promote the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", and at the same time promote the image of Coc San - a land with majestic natural landscapes, terraced fields, white waterfalls and peaceful Mong villages.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 55 prizes, including 40 individual prizes, including: First, Second, Third, and Encouragement prizes in 4 categories; 15 team prizes, to recognize and honor the sportsmanship, efforts, and dedication of the athletes participating in the tournament.
