One day before the match against Vietnam U23, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan was present at Chonburi Stadium to encourage the Vietnamese women's team to win against Myanmar and advance to the semi-finals of the women's football tournament at the 33rd SEA Games.

Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized that the team's performance demonstrated their potential, capabilities, and serious preparation over the past period, and assessed that the entire team had shown their ambition and ability.

The crucial task ahead is to maintain the highest level of focus, aiming for a place in the final on December 18th. The VFF will always stand by and provide timely support to ensure the players can compete with peace of mind, maximize their potential, and bring glory to the nation.
This afternoon, December 12th, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team will return to the training ground to prepare for their semi-final match against the Philippines U23 team, aiming to reach the final and win the SEA Games 33 gold medal.
According to the regulations, from the semi-finals onwards (except for the bronze medal match), the matches will be played in a knockout format. If the score is tied after 90 minutes of regular time, the two teams will play extra time (15 minutes each). If the score remains tied, a penalty shootout will be used to determine the winner.
