Coach Kim Sang-sik 'brought' Vietnam U23 team back down to earth immediately; the semi-finals are no laughing matter.

On the afternoon of December 12th, a day after their convincing victory over U.23 Malaysia to secure a place in the semi-finals of the SEA Games 33, the U.23 Vietnam team was still training intensely.

Vietnam U23 team doesn't relax after victory against Malaysia.

At approximately 3:45 PM, the Vietnam U23 team returned to the RBAC stadium for training, preparing for their semi-final match against the Philippines at the 33rd SEA Games. With only three days left until the official kick-off, coach Kim Sang-sik and his players trained extremely seriously. The starting players were taken to a separate corner by the South Korean coach. The head coach shared tactical insights and lessons learned with his players to help them deliver a better performance in the upcoming match.

This is quite surprising. Previously, after the hard-fought 2-1 victory against Laos, coach Kim Sang-sik allowed the starting lineup to rest, only doing light training instead of "reviewing" like this time. This shows that the entire Vietnam U23 team is pushing their focus and determination to the highest level.

Immediately after addressing the entire team, Mr. Kim brought the starting lineup out for a "review." Vietnamese expatriate Le Viktor was translated into English by Mr. Kim's language assistant to facilitate understanding.
