The AI ​​Ultra package offers NotebookLM a superior set of features and usage limits. In addition to priority access to the latest Gemini templates, users get up to 50 times more usage limits than with the standard package. The notebook is also significantly upgraded, supporting up to 600 data sources, far exceeding the 50 sources in the free package and 300 sources in the Pro package. Limits related to the Audio- Video Overview feature and the Slide Deck creation tool are also considerably increased.

One important point is that AI Ultra subscribers get priority access to premium features such as removing watermarks on infographics and slide decks, along with the return of the highly-rated Slide Decks Long mode.

Previously, NotebookLM offered the same limitations and features to both Pro and Ultra users — a controversial move due to the Ultra plan's very high price of $200 per month, nearly 10 times the Pro plan. From now on, AI Ultra users will truly receive benefits commensurate with the cost of using NotebookLM.
