Saint-Gobain reaffirms commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050

Sharing the topic "Transformation trends of Vietnam's construction industry in the context of increasing requirements for sustainability", Mr. Nguyen Truong Hai - CEO of Saint-Gobain Vietnam affirmed that researching and developing new products and solutions in the direction of lightness, sustainability and environmental friendliness is inevitable.

Saint-Gobain Vietnam's carbon neutrality commitment by 2050 was also reaffirmed: " At Saint-Gobain, we care deeply about environmental issues and sustainable development. The carbon neutrality commitment by 2050 not only demonstrates Saint-Gobain's commitment to the country's common goals, but is also an important part of our mission for our development commitment in Vietnam ."

Saint-Gobain Vietnam has practical solutions in product development such as improving materials; researching new alternative materials; optimizing production processes to minimize waste and energy use by expanding and optimizing the D2D model to reduce the number of trucks used for delivery.

Also at the event, Saint-Gobain Vietnam introduced to the domestic construction community the latest lightweight and sustainable construction products and solutions.
