At the recent Insurance Asia Awards 2025, Prudential Vietnam was named in the category of "New Insurance Product of the Year 2025" with the PRU-Maximum Protection Universal Life Insurance product, just 3 months after its launch on the market.

Insurance Asia Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in the Asia- Pacific region, honoring outstanding initiatives and products from insurance companies.

To be named in the “New Insurance Product of the Year” category, the product must meet criteria such as being unique and creative or a breakthrough, pioneering initiative, and must demonstrate effectiveness and flexibility to respond to market changes.

PRU-Maximum Protection Universal Life Insurance product has passed strict criteria to be honored at Insurance Asia Awards, showing the recognition of international experts for insurance products that promptly meet market needs, in addition to positive reception from customers.

Mr. Luong The Vinh - Product Director of Prudential Vietnam shared: “We are very proud that the PRU-Maximum Protection Joint Insurance product has been honored at an international award after only 3 months of launching. This is not only a recognition from the international community, but also a testament to the very positive reception from customers and consultants”.

Mr. Vinh said that this is the first product of Prudential launched in 2025, the product emphasizes the core spirit of insurance which is to maximize protection value per premium.

“The premium must be appropriate, but the insurance amount must be good and attractive enough for customers. We are very happy that after launching the product, customers have accessed the product and clearly see that this product brings better benefits. This is also Prudential's commitment to its customers.”

Insurance solutions that maximize protection value per dollar

In a period of many changes in the business environment, insurance companies are reshaping their operating strategies. According to the GlobalData 2025 report[TT1], the Vietnamese life insurance market will recover and grow again from 2026, with a compound annual growth rate. Notably, personalizing customer experience is considered one of the prominent trends.

According to Prudential representative, the company has grasped that need and designed the PRU Universal Insurance product - Maximum Protection with the core spirit of maximizing the protection value per premium, up to 80 times the basic insurance premium, meeting the need for protection at the optimal level on the insurance premium that best suits financial capacity. Accordingly, the insurance amount of 80 times the basic insurance premium is estimated based on the common age group of Prudential customers. The actual insurance amount of each customer will be calculated depending on the age, gender and health status of the customer.

By participating in this product, customers can also choose the "basic insurance plan" to balance protection and accumulation benefits or the "advanced insurance plan" to optimize financial protection benefits.

The fact that Prudential's product was honored at the Insurance Asia Awards after only 3 months of launch is not only due to the outstanding features of the product but also because the product addresses customers' concerns about the core value of insurance - a solution for maximum protection and sustainable accumulation.
