In the 10 months, IIP is estimated to increase by 9.2% over the same period last year and higher than the 8.3% increase in the same period in 2024. Of which, the processing and manufacturing industry continues to be the main driving force with an increase of 10.5% (same period in 2024 increased by 9.5%), contributing 8.5 percentage points to the overall increase. In addition, the water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment industry increased by 9.0%, contributing 0.1 percentage point. Of which, foreign-invested enterprises (FDI) had the highest increase of 4.1%. The processing, manufacturing, production and distribution of electricity, gas... industries all recorded an increase in the number of workers.
With the above positive figures, the industrial sector is showing resilience, especially the processing and manufacturing sector. This growth momentum contributes significantly to the overall economic growth and at the same time creates more jobs for workers./.
