According to information from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from the evening of May 28 to May 29, the Northern region is likely to experience a period of moderate to heavy rain, with some places experiencing very heavy rain with rainfall ranging from 30 to 80 mm, with some places experiencing over 180 mm. In some places, there may be localized heavy rain for 3 consecutive hours.

Localized heavy rains are likely to cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station forecasts that due to the low pressure trough passing through the North, at the same time, Hai Duong province is forecast to have moderate to heavy rain with a total rainfall of 30 - 40 mm.
