Merging 2 Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Boards

On the morning of September 11, in Khanh Hoa, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Nguyen Hoang Hiep attended the Conference to implement the Decision on merging the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 8 into the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7; and announced the decision to appoint leaders.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Hiep presented the decision to the leaders of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 (after the merger).

The conference announced the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on merging the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 8 into the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 under the Ministry from September 1, 2025; the head office is located in Khanh Hoa province. After the merger, the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 will operate in the following provinces and cities: Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong.

Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 receives the original organizational structure, personnel, finance, assets, facilities, etc.; inherits the tasks, rights, responsibilities, and obligations of the construction project investor and related tasks of Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 8 to perform tasks according to the provisions of law.

The conference also announced the decisions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment on the transfer and appointment of leadership personnel of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7. Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Hiep presented the decisions: appointing Mr. Phi Ngoc Tuan - Acting Director of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 (before the merger) to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 and assigning the Acting Director of the Board from September 1, 2025. At the same time, the decisions were presented to appoint Mr. Ao Van Thom, Tran Van Phi - Deputy Directors of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 (before the merger); Do Huu Thu - Deputy Director in charge of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 8; Le Khac Tuyen - Deputy Director of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 8 to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 from September 1, 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Hoang Hiep asked the leadership team and employees of the Irrigation Investment and Construction Management Board 7 to promote their capacity, strengths, and solidarity to complete the assigned tasks. In the immediate future, stabilize the apparatus and organization; complete the operating regulations and mechanisms... to submit to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for consideration and decision, ensuring that work is not interrupted due to arrangement and merger.
