The shooting qualifying round began at 9:30 AM with a team competition between reigning ASIAD champion Pham Quang Huy and Trinh Thu Vinh in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Following yesterday's double gold medal win, Trinh Thu Vinh is more confident and enthusiastic, while Pham Quang Huy is determined after a less-than-successful opening day. This talented shooting duo is expected to qualify for the final at 11:30 AM and help Vietnam win another gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

In athletics, the golden girl Nguyen Thi Oanh will compete in the women's 10,000m final at 5:40 PM. Unless there are any major surprises, this "petite" athlete will bring home her second gold medal at this year's SEA Games. Vietnamese athletics also has Quach Thi Lan competing in the women's 400m final at 5 PM. In addition, there are two other exciting events: the men's 4x100m relay and the women's 4x100m relay.

Indoor swimming competitions concluded on the final day with expectations of a gold medal for Nguyen Huy Hoang as he competed in the qualifying (9 am) and final (4 pm) of the men's 400m freestyle. Other contenders included Tran Hung Nguyen in the 200m backstroke, Pham Thanh Bao in the 50m breaststroke, and Nguyen Quang Thuan in the 200m butterfly.

At 5 PM, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will compete in the final against Thailand, hoping to defeat them for the first time in history. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy's good form is a positive sign for Vietnamese women's volleyball, but Thailand possesses a well-balanced team and has the home advantage.

Today, Vietnamese sports also look forward to athletes in bowling, wushu, petanque, and other sports performing brilliantly and achieving even higher results at the 33rd SEA Games.
