Previously, on the evening of September 14, An Binh A Ward Police received a report about a tenant who appeared to be impersonating a military officer. Local police coordinated with the Hong Ngu City Military Command to verify.
Even when the authorities were present, the subject still claimed to be an army captain, commander of a unit under Military Region 7. However, through verification, the Hong Ngu City Military Command determined that the information provided by the subject was false.
When he could no longer beat around the bush, the "fake officer" revealed his real name and admitted to buying his own uniform online.
Searching Bao's residence, the authorities seized many military equipment, a pair of handcuffs and a plastic gun.
