Supermodel-Runner-up Vu Linh competes in Manhunt International 2025 in Thailand

Mr. Chu Tan Van - representative of the unit sending contestants to the contest said that the criteria for selecting contestants are people with beautiful faces, model bodies, confident demeanor, bravery and positive influence on the community.

“The contest does not require contestants to be good at English. Using the mother tongue in communication is also a way to express national pride. Manhunt International is an international playground that promotes cultural identity and human values. Therefore, foreign language is only a small factor in the overall evaluation,” said Mr. Chu Tan Van.

Before coming to Manhunt International 2025, Vu Linh had twice represented Vietnam in international competitions, and won the runner-up title at Mister Grand International 2022. He is also a professional model who has performed at many major domestic and international fashion weeks.

Vu Linh said that being selected by the copyright holder to compete in Manhunt International is both an opportunity and a challenge for him. He has nearly a month to practice, prepare procedures, skills, and costumes for the contest. He also spent nearly half a year learning Thai to impress the Thai host and international friends.

To prepare for the competition, Vu Linh planned a strict training schedule to tone his body as well as improve his communication and presentation skills. He worked with designers Tuan Hai, Ngo Manh Dong Dong, Ivan Tran, Tu Do, and Mon Amie Veston fashion to prepare costumes for the 10 days of participating in the competition's activities.

“I am very honored to once again be given the opportunity to represent Vietnam in the international beauty arena. This is not only a personal honor, but also a responsibility to bring the image of brave, compassionate and confident Vietnamese men to the world . With my previous competition experience, I believe that I will bring a unique color, a Vietnamese identity that is both traditional and modern at Manhunt International 2025,” said Vu Linh.

The Manhunt International 2025 contest will take place from June 2 to 11 with a series of exchange activities, filming, performances and many diverse cultural activities. The final and coronation night will take place on June 10 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Nguyen Vu Linh was born in 1994, from Ben Tre . He is 1m86 tall and weighs 78kg. The male model has won many achievements such as Top 10 Mister Tourism Universe 2017, Runner-up of Vietnam Fashion Model 2018, Top 10 The Next Gentleman Vietnam 2022, Runner-up of International Peace 2022 and most recently the title of Most Favorite Model at the Vietnam Model Awards 2023. He also works in the film industry with roles in the movies "The Third Person" and "The Third Person".

Manhunt International is an international beauty pageant for men, first held in 1993. This is one of the three major playgrounds for men, along with Mr World and Mister International. Currently, Manhunt International attracts nearly 50 contestants from participating countries. In 2017, Ngoc Tinh was crowned in the final night in Thailand. This is Vietnam's highest achievement to date.
