Sin Suoi Ho village has a fresh, cool climate all year round with a natural forest ecosystem surrounding it - this place is considered a bright spot in the economic development of the commune. 100% of the people in the village are Mong ethnic people. In addition to growing rice and corn, more than 70% of households in the village grow orchids - a flower with high economic value. Every Tet holiday, thousands of pots of orchids bloom, bringing a significant source of income to the people in the village. Located at an altitude of nearly 1,500m, in the legendary Hoang Lien Son mountain range, at the foot of Son Bac May mountain, this place is also a route leading to famous mountain peaks, attracting mountain climbers and cloud hunters such as: Rang Cua mountain, Bach Moc Luong Tu, Ky Quan San peak... The village also has Trai Tim waterfall; there are terraced fields stretching in all directions and the unique traditional culture of the Mong people such as: traditional festivals, customs, costumes, cuisine to the architecture of rammed earth houses with unique ancient stone fences. The village currently has more than 30 households running homestays with more than 70 rooms, serving tourists who come to explore.

Mr. Vang A Chinh - Head of Sin Suoi Ho village shared: "We focus on developing a comprehensive economy, especially tourism and orchid growing, thanks to which people have jobs and stable income. Poverty reduction is the top goal that the whole village works together to achieve."
Not only famous for community tourism, the commune also has areas of effective agricultural production. A typical example is Den Thang village - where 100% of the Dao ethnic people live. Previously, the village was very difficult, but now it has made full use of the land, converting the crop structure towards commodity production. Up to now, the village has focused on growing over 100 hectares of cassava, over 20 hectares of mango, 8 hectares of banana... This transformation has helped the people's economy develop significantly.

Along with that, the commune promotes the development of large livestock and poultry farming and cold-water fish farming such as salmon and sturgeon - typical products of the highlands.
Currently, the whole commune has 1,205 hectares of rice; 758 hectares of corn; 662 hectares of arrowroot; 307 hectares of cassava, 446 hectares of banana. Area of other fruit trees (pears, peaches, plums, mangoes): 865 hectares, tea... and 30,000 pots of orchids. The total herd of livestock in Sin Suoi Ho commune is 9,097...; aquaculture output is 89 tons. People are supported with preferential loans, technical training, guidance on production linkage, helping many economic models of households, cooperatives, and cooperatives to form and promote effectively...
The economy of Sin Suoi Ho commune has clearly developed, with an average income of over 38 million VND/person/year. More than 120 households have escaped poverty; the commune has 3 combined livestock and crop farming models that bring in hundreds of millions of VND per year, creating a new economic face for this mountainous border commune.

Mr. Ha Manh Thang - Vice Chairman of Sin Suoi Ho Commune People's Committee said: "In the coming time, the commune will focus on implementing national target programs, developing commodity agriculture associated with linking businesses and cooperatives to create key products. We encourage people to grow valuable plants such as tea, macadamia, cassava, taro; develop livestock; raise cold-water fish; at the same time, build and promote the brand of local OCOP products".
Along with that, the commune directed the Association and mass organizations to strengthen coordination with agencies and units in activities to support people such as: opening training classes, technical guidance; supporting capital (from loans from banks: social policy, agriculture and rural development, Farmers Support Fund), supporting seeds, agricultural materials... mobilizing households to participate in collective economic development models, private economy. Promoting connections between enterprises and cooperatives to create links in production according to the value chain, consumption, stable output for products and building, promoting brands, creating OCOP products typical of the locality".
Sin Suoi Ho today is not only a "home of orchids" but also an attractive destination for cultural experiences and eco-tourism - where the efforts of the people are turning potential into reality, bringing a prosperous life and a bright future to the homeland.
