That is the URA-XLAW project of a group of students from the University of Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University), which has just won the championship of the ATTACKER 2025 academic competition in the field of financial technology, attracting over 2,000 students from 54 universities across the country to participate.

The competition is part of the annual event Ho Chi Minh City Fintech Road 2025 co-organized by the University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), IDG International Data Group and the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies. The final round of the competition ended on the evening of September 18 in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the URA-XLAW project, a group of students Nguyen Song Thien Long, Vo Thi Nhu Quynh, Phan Quoc Kha, Le Ngoc Hung Dung and Le Thanh Duy created a chatbot to ask and answer legal documents for the State Bank.

The student group said the highlight of URA-XLAW is the ability to answer quickly, with citations, each answer is accompanied by 2-3 related terms.

The system also allows users to filter document validity by stage, create lists for businesses to check internally and update data within 24 hours.

Student Nguyen Song Thien Long said that unlike conventional chatbots, URA-XLAW applies LawGraph technology and multi-agent AI, which can model the relationship between laws and detect abolished or replaced documents.

AI agents are responsible for everything from determining query purposes, retrieving data, assessing applicable conditions to verifying citation sources and ensuring reliability.

According to the group, the product can help the legal and internal control departments of banks reduce 60-80% of review time, standardize data and save on audit costs. This is also a step forward in the RegTech or LegalTech trend, bringing technology into legal management.

At the final round, the jury highly appreciated the URA-XLAW project, expecting it not only to support banks but also to expand its application to financial and auditing enterprises, contributing to solving the problem of increasingly dense, complex and constantly changing legal documents.

Besides the URA-XLAW project, the final round of the ATTACKER 2025 competition also attracted many other outstanding student projects.

Typically, a group of students from the University of Economics (University of Danang ) brought the PentaGold model, a platform that turns gold into digital assets, helping small investors or organizations to store, invest, lend and pay in a safer, more transparent and flexible way than traditional gold.

In addition, a group of students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics created a smart personal financial management platform, using AI and Digital Twin to automate spending recording, visualize financial goals and promote saving habits, especially targeting young users.

A group of students from the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) created HYHAN - an educational fintech platform that helps disadvantaged students access scholarships, loans, jobs and training. At the same time, the platform also creates a transparent investment channel for businesses and society.

In 2025, the ATTACKER 2025 competition attracted students from all over the country to participate, including candidates from international universities in Vietnam such as RMIT University, Vietnam-Germany University, British University Vietnam, Czech University of Economics, Western Sydney University...

The competition focuses on the value triangle: startup - technology - economy, creating a creative forum associated with academia for students to present ideas, business models and digital solutions in the financial sector.

In addition to valuable prizes, projects with good ideas can be sponsored by businesses. Contestants have the opportunity to turn ideas into products and transfer projects into reality.
