In the 30th minute, foreign striker Olaha of SLNA shot the ball from about 20 meters, forcing goalkeeper Phan Van Bieu of Da Nang to struggle to block. SLNA's defense system was inexplicably careless, letting Da Nang player Kim Dong-su "escape", before this player leisurely kicked the ball without a guard, scoring the goal to tie the match 1-1.

With this draw, each team has 7 points, holding each other at the bottom of the rankings after 9 rounds of V-League 2025-2026.
